Meno 26 giorni. É cominciato il countdown per l'apertura della Metro C di Roma. confermato l'11 Ottobre come giorno del taglio del nastro per il primo tratto della terza linea della metropolitana romana: Pantano-Centocelle. Ad annunciarlo l'assessore alla Mobilità, Guido Improta, a margine della presentazione degli eventi per la Settimana della Mobilità: “La metro C esiste ed è in buone condizioni e verrà aperta l’11 di ottobre. Dal punto di vista infrastrutturale non ci sono problemi, stiamo solo mettendo a punto la parte software del sistema driverless”. Stando alle ultime dichiarazioni dell'assessore alla Mobilità, l'esercizio nel primo periodo sarà garantito con corse ogni 12 minuti dalle 5.30 del mattino alle 18.30 (molto discutibile dato che i treni sono tutti in deposito e pronti per sfrecciare su Roma).
"A breve inoltre verrà presa la decisione definitiva se la stazione di piazza Venezia della linea C sarà un capolinea o un passante; questo è un nodo politico che scioglieremo al massimo la prossima settimana con il sindaco Marino, la Regione Lazio e il ministero delle Infrastrutture, Tenendo a precisare che "non tutto dipende dall'amministrazione, ma anche dalle tante imprese coinvolte"
Nell'attesa, proprio in occasione della Settimana della Mobilità, il cantiere di Parco di Centocelle verrà aperto al pubblico. E' l'Open Day Metro C previsto per sabato 20 settembre, dalle 10 alle 18. Nell’atrio saranno allestiti pannelli che illustreranno le varie fasi della progettazione della nuova linea della metropolitana e sarà distribuito materiale informativo sulla tratta. Un'iniziativa molto interessante per avvicinare la città ad un'altrettanta importante opera per l'Urbe.
Buone notizie insomma, per la grande opera eterna quasi quanto la sua città.
e per chi volesse, ci vediamo sabato 20 alla stazione di "Parco di Centocelle", per respirare finalmente un po di "aria di C".
